Project Information
1. What is it?
A Discord/Telegram/Email/Text alert system for the Ajna community that will alert users of major compromises to their own positions on Ajna as well as the positions of whales that may affect their positions. This alert system would be tailored for the Ajna community to provide Ajna users with the exact information they need to manage position risk, incentivizing healthy positions and the health of the protocol as a whole. Currently, Ajna users need to monitor their positions and those of whales manually. While this can work, users will benefit from receiving direct notifications of the information they need to more effectively manage risk.
2. What problem is being solved, how?
Managing risk on Ajna currently involves frequent monitoring of one’s positions via the Ajna frontend. This is not sufficient in a time of duress when one needs to know of an issue quickly and make an informed decision. An Ajna-specific alert system will increase user safety on Ajna by alerting users directly of information they need to know, so they can make those necessary decisions.
3. How will this project be a source of growth or success for Ajna? Please include a step-by-step summary of how you imagine the completed project will affect Ajna.
The Anthias x Ajna Alert System will be a source of success for Ajna by helping Ajna users maintain healthy positions and avoid liquidation. This will add to customer success on Ajna and hopefully attract more users to the protocol as well.
4. What is/are the objective(s)?
- The development of a full data analytics/risk management alert system for Ajna. The alert system will give users the ability to receive direct alerts via either Discord DM, Telegram, email, or text for:
- If selected wallets’ liquidation health score drops below a specified threshold
- If the price of specified tokens drops by a certain percentage
- If the aggregate health score of the Ajna protocol drops below a specified threshold
- If selected wallets are liquidated or at risk of liquidation
- If lender position is frozen
- If lender position is traded against
- A signup/login page on Anthias.xyz, which can also be integrated with SummerFi and Ajna’s native frontend, where Ajna users can make an account and select the different items they would like to be notified for. Here users will also be able to see a list view of all their past Anthias notifications in case they would prefer to track there.
5. What is/are the deliverable(s)?
Our primary deliverable is to improve user experience via this alert system and add to the health of the Ajna protocol by helping lower the amount of liquidations and bad debt on the protocol through alerting Ajna users when their positions are in danger.
6. What is the timeline for completing the deliverables?
We estimate development time to take ~7-9 weeks from the proposal vote going through.
7. What level of support do you anticipate needing through the duration of the project?
We do not anticipate needing support during the development of this project–our team is self-sufficient.
8. How often will progress reports be published to the forum?
We will post progress reports to the forum at minimum once every two weeks during the duration of development while doing additional posts for more immediate updates that come up during development. Along with this, we will also share updates to our Twitter.
9. What are the estimated costs associated with the full completion of this project?
$21k USD Breakdown:
- $20k - contributor compensation for grant deliverable work
- $1k - storage, database, and app upgrade costs
10. If applicable, How will the project be maintained after completion of the grant?
Our team at Anthias Labs will maintain the project and potentially seek a path to monetization once development and community iteration are complete. Based on feedback from community members, we will continue iterating and shipping out new and useful features.

11. How will you handle a delay in your project timeline?
We have shipped grants for some of the largest DAOs in the space and have never missed a deadline, so we do not anticipate a delay in our project here, but if there is a delay, we will communicate it clearly with the community via the Ajna forum.
12. How will you handle a scenario where the original scope can’t be completed due to insufficient funding or other factors (Deficit of funds, or other)?
If the original scope cannot be completed due to insufficient funding, we will re-evaluate the scope, and assess with the community via the forum to adjust based on what is necessary in order to complete the project.
13. How will you handle a scenario where the project is completed, but significantly under budget (surplus of funds left over)?
If we receive a surplus of funding due to price factors, etc, these funds will be returned to the DAO.
