# Delegate Rewards
- Ajna permits for vote delegation and delegate rewards.
- A tokenholder may delegate to themselves if they wish to capture this reward.
- In the primary funding mechanism 10% of the quarterly distribution is awarded to delegates.
_For example, if the quarterly distribution is 10M tokens, 1M tokens will be awarded to delegates and the remaining 9M will be distributed._
- Delegate rewards do not apply to the EFM.
- The reward will be based on the delegates pro rata share of the total delegate votes in the Funding Stage.
- Only delegates who participate in both the Screening Stage and the Funding Stage will be eligible to receive delegation rewards.
